Sky Bar         < Previous    Next >

Telling people you’re Lebanese used to mean being asked if you’d experienced the War, now it means being asked if you’ve partied at SkyBar. It’d be an understatement to say that anyone who’s anyone can be found partying in the region’s most exclusive nightspot. We’ve even spotted the occasional Gulfy entourage verging on tears after having their hefty bribe declined at the door. While their password entry system and a frighteningly long queue are major hurdles to overcome, they certainly make gaining access a whole lot more fun once you’re in.

Once you’re in it’s hard to shake the feeling that you’re part of an elite group of bon vivants, then again, why would you want to? Since opening in summer 2003 Sky Bar has become a must for celebrities, foreign playboys and top models. Internationally renowned DJs pump out electronic beats and pop anthems to an appreciative crowd of bronzed playboys and elegant hotties (Lebanese women well deserve their reputation of being the region’s most beautiful) would look just at home lazing on St Tropez bound yachts as they do sharing magnum after magnum of Dom on the dance floor.  It doesn’t take long for revelers to jump onto the tables, proving that Sky Bar has cemented Beirut’s reputation as one of the world’s most fabulous party
destinations.

Sky Bar’s cocktail menu is the most extensive in Beirut, offering up a dazzling selection of Moet & Chandon Lychee and Strawberry Bellinis, Vodka, Lychee and Apple Martinis, Mojitos as well as a selection of delicious classic virgin cocktails. Their dinner menu offers an array of Mediterranean dishes, Salads and Sushi. Don’t forget to order their famed Salmon Usu Zukuri (Salmon sashimi marinated in Soya Vinagrette). While their dessert menu has a number of tasty treats (Chocolat Mou, Strawberry Cream Cake, Profiterole, Red Fruit Salad) we recommend you indulge in a bottle of Laurent Perrier Rose, put your arm around your beloved, enjoy the best view in Beirut, and get ready to party like a rock star.
